Our Courses

Basic CPR is for the community, childcare, adult care facilities, or anyone interested in learning how to perform CPR.  This course will give you the necessary skills to recognize and respond to cardiac arrest, activate emergency medical services and respond appropriately until additional assistance arrives.  This course also covers how to respond to urgent choking situations.  This is a certification class valid for 2 years.

ASHI BLS course trains healthcare providers and professional responders how to recognize a life-threatening emergency, how to provide basic life support, and what to do in case of an airway obstruction or choking.  This certification is valid for 2 years and provides individuals with the knowledge and skills in basic life support (BLS) for an emergency.

This course is for those individuals that have completed the online portion (PART ONE) of the listed class above from the American Heart Association.  When you're finished with part one, you can schedule the skill sign off portion (PART TWO) by visiting our calendar.  You can also call or send an email to get in touch.  ​ ** You must bring your PART ONE Heartcode 2020 COMPLETION CERTIFICATE to participate in this class! ** 

Our First Aid program is designed to help individuals recognize and emergency, and the proper treatment until EMS arrives.  Topics include, but are not limited to are shock, burns, strains, bleeding control, diabetic emergencies and seizures.  This program meets the guidelines and national standards for first aid.  Beginning April 1st 2021, this certification will be valid for 2 years

Bloodborne Pathogens is an excellent class for anyone who deals with bodily fluids, including those who own a piercing or tattoo business.  This program will help individuals understand what bloodborne pathogens are, how to reduce the risks of exposure to themselves and others and what steps will be taken if exposure occurs.  This program is a certification class valid for 2 years.

The AED program can be added to basic CPR or BLS CPR.  This program will teach individuals the proper use of the AED, the advantages of using an AED, and the enhancement of resuscitative efforts before EMS arrives.  AED's, increase the chance of survival especially when available to the general public.
